Very good cuisine and impeccable service very beautiful evening

L'Aromate is a gem of a spot, and our visit there was the dining highlight of our stay in Caen. We will of course remember the delicious fare, exquisitely conceived and presented. Our server, Paul was a delight--warm and so accommodating--and the lovely ambience afforded us the quiet calm we were seeking. Lovely wine offerings. Affordable, approachable elegance.

We are so glad we dined at L’Aromate! The staff was friendly and lovely to us as English speakers and helped us understand the menu and selections. The food was truly excellent a gourmet experience. We have loved our stay in Caen and dinner here will be one of our favorite memories from this trip.

Good value for money. A mixture of tastes... excellent! Hence its name perhaps L 'Aromate . Home and warm atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant. For a first a hearty lunch! We didn't even take dessert!
