Bidrage med feedbackMy husband ordered the Pink Floyd, and me, not wanting to eat much, ordered the grilled oysters and a side salad. Place was dimly lit and full of an older clientele.
Went there last night to celebrate mine and my husband 3 year anniversary, from the moment we walked in we were treated like family. The food was amazing and big portions and they have a long selection of wine. We had no complaints. The restaurant does require a reservation. Thank you to the wonderful staff who made our anniversary so special
What a sad and frustrating visit to a place we used to love and respect. This place used to include salad and bread but now there's an extra charge for each. We started with the Polenta appetizer which was good. I had the fettuccine with pesto and chicken and he had the chicken parmesan. While eating our salads we noticed a server coming out with our main dishes and turn around and go back to the kitchen. We would have been ok with having the entree out early instead of when we finally received it cold with hard and cold melted cheese on the chicken parmesan. His spaghetti (side dish) and my fettuccine were both pasty and gross. My pesto was so dry I choked. The wine was the saver for the night as we toasted for his birthday and ate all the salad and the breas because our main entrees were horrible. What was supposed to be a wonderful birthday celebration turned out to be a sad experience especially for the money we spent. We walked away so bummed out.
Mid on all levels. Not recommended.Hurried server approached the table to let us know everything they were out of (which was a lot of wines and dishes), boxed croutons and a split plate charge even though they didn’t split the meal. Just brought an extra plate. It’s not so much the cost as the principle. If you’re going to charge a fee, at least have a product to back it up.Left with a bad taste, both literally figuratively.
First time I went to this restaurant and I ordered the stuffed trout which was delicious...the only thing left on my plate was the head?
