Plank's Tavern - Saint Joseph

My 3 friends and I enjoyed dinner at planks on Friday, December 2nd. we loved the fun Christmas music and decor and tom was a wonderful server!

I was at plank several times and had great experiences. this experience was not even close to the same experiences as in past. the cocktails have not been ordered as described. While the shell app had a fabulous taste, they were not thoroughly cleaned enough and were extremely rode. the autumn salad tasted like fish and the candied squash did not taste at all and was uncooked and/or extremely hard. the added chicken not accompanied the salate, was taken separately and eaten separately. the manager was friendly and replaced the salat, but it tasted exactly the same, so either the same salat was sent back or there is a serious mistake with the court. when we made it available with the waitress (which was also very friendly) after the second salat, they stated that several people from a big party in the adjoining dining room had also ordered the salat. when she was asked if they had eaten the salat, she did not react. and while the ceasar salad was always edible, it simply did not taste like the traditional salat / dress, and the menu was nothing else. While I have recommended plank in the past many people, I am not sure that I can come forward.

Good variety on the menu. the food was delicious. the personal was friendly. overall we have not waited long periods between our curses, but we did not feel in vain either.

Love planks! Food is always good love the water view. Service is excellent!

First time at Plank's and it was a winner! We wanted to go early for our anniversary dinner so I reserved a table at 1730. They also honored my request to be near the fireplace. Plank's had an early 3 course dinner and a wine special. We both loved the sesame seared tuna outstanding value. The service was also excellent and Isabella is a keeper! Will go again
