Houndstooth - Benton Harbor

What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was wonderful. Don't miss the Japanese milk bread. We had several dishes very creative and interesting flavors. The server was very creative and they offered some delicious zero proof cocktails. There is a lot of interesting food stuff going on in this area of Benton Harbor. Every dish we ordered was amazing!! Inventive and a pleasure to the senses!

The food is amazing, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is top-notch. This restaurant is the best in the area. It may be new, but it's already attracting long lines of customers.

The best meal we had during our visit for a few days. Excited to return soon!

Friends told us about the Houndstooth for a while but we said “In downtown Benton Harbor??? Finally went Friday night and we’re blown away. Very small menu as far as main courses go but they have a lot of unique items to share. Think Tapas but in a very gourmet way. Great little space with a New York meat packing district vibe. Small but efficient wine list that we had a Pinot Noir “ Stoller” that was very good. We both had the Halibut as that’s one of our favs and a couple sides. Crunchy potatoes were outstanding. We will be back soon as there are a couple more things we need to try. Our server I think his name was Shay) was a hoot and was excellent.
