Bidrage med feedbackI was pleasantly surprised to discover an Indian restaurant in this small town. The meal was excellent, but I found the safety of the establishment to be a bit concerning. They do offer some vegetarian and even vegan options on the menu.
Terrible restaurant with customer service that sinks to the lowest level—just like their food! If you make a mistake with your order, rather than correcting their own errors, they’ll scream and shout at you. It's not a restaurant; it feels more like a bullying club. If they put as much effort into their cooking as they do into their yelling, their food might actually be decent. I refuse to stoop to their level and give them even one star. Buyer beware—although they might claim many positive things in these reviews, you'll mostly just be met with screams and chaos that leave you utterly confused. You’ll regret spending your money here. I wish them a good day, but honestly, I don’t think this restaurant has many days left!
Terrible customer service. I would recommend NOT order from this place. I got the wrong order that I couldn't eat, and they wouldn't replace the product with the right one. The person I spoke to has no solution skills. She argued with me instead of fixing the problem. Not ORDER!
I have eaten at about 15 different Indian restaurants in the region of Montreal, my best spot are MahliSweet and Palais d'Ajit. Like many Indian restaurant I went, they focus on the food more than on the place. So if you want to go there and sit and eat, well, hopefully you can do so outside as inside is not inviting at all.The food is great, I am not a fan of butter chicken, so won't comment. Chicken Tikka Massala was good, not the best, but I did like it, the chicken piece were big and I had enough and there were some piece of pepper in there (not just chicken). Mix that with a Byriany rice and you got a great meal.We also ordered Chicken Tikka, strangely they had no Chicken Tandoori Leg available. The Chicken Tikka are generous and very delicious.Samosa where deception, they were good, but I easily found better elsewhere. Same for Channa Samosa, those were not a satisfying experience as other place can really get you something amazing for that plate. We also had pakora vege, was ok, and Spinach/Cheese, and Tikka Cheese, those were excellent.Naan was great, but not as good as MahliSweet, where they are simply amazing and crunchy.I do not know if they do have a real Tandoori oven at that place, I think so, since the Chicken Tikka seemed BBQ style.Anyway, in Vaudreuil there are like 3 Indian choice, me, I prefer Gaj for their Channa Samosa, I would place this one with the other restaurant I tried which was so-so.Will try different plate next time, I wish they were connected with ordering services like Uber/DoorDash, etc. I feel this place is also more pricey than others.Still, if you are in the area and want some Indian food, well, that is certainly a place to go try.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. They messed up my order and charged me more than I was supposed to pay. When I requested a refund and offered to pay only the correct difference, they still didn't get it right. Upon returning home, I realized that my dessert was missing. I called the restaurant, and the staff informed me that they no longer offer that dessert, even though it was listed on the menu as included. I had already paid for two desserts that I never received, and they refused to issue a refund. Instead, they suggested I come back to the restaurant, which is a 30-minute drive for me. I recommend double-checking your order and charges before paying, as I feel they engage in fraudulent practices.
