The Blue Taco - Round Lake

First time here...will definitely be back soon. Owner is very friendly and welcoming. Drinks were unique. Two different appetizers and tacos were delicious and generous. We had a great time!

This was one of the biggest disappointments I’ve ever had with a restaurant. First of all , the place is named a taco bar but their menu includes very little Mexican options and mostly hamburgers, mozzarella sticks, and fish and chips. They also have many drinks listed and I ordered a simple margarita which had ZERO taste and I’m assuming barely any actual alcohol in it. I ordered a quesadilla and it was incredibly dry and unseasoned. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had and such a waste of money.also awful service. The place was absolutely dead and it still took our waitress forever to take our order and bring our drinks. And then even longer waiting around for the check. This place is a joke. No clue how it’s even still in business

The food was awesome! I had a steak torta and my husband had a pork Torta we shared chips and salsa and also had Empanadas. Everything tasted amazing! And was reasonably priced! This is a great mom and pop shop I cant wait to go back and try more things!

First time had a great experience. Restaurant and bar, I wouldn't recommend for children. Nice selection of drinks. I liked that the queso fondido appetizer was really cheesy with chorizo! Came with both corn and flour tortillas.

I love this place! The tacos are always tasty and there are so many choices. The drink, the cantaro, is always tasty! The chips with fresh pico are always great too! The owners are really wonderful and I'm happy to support their business!
