Gurnee Donuts

I'm really puzzled by the positive reviews. The staff was extremely rude to everyone, and honestly, the donuts were among the worst I've ever had. The Boston cream donut had hardly any filling, and the maple bar resembled a loaf of bread topped with a very thin layer of icing. I usually prefer yeast donuts, but these were simply too thick and bready, lacking that soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture I expect. The ube donut (which is a cake donut) was okay, but it didn’t taste like ube at all. Strangely, it reminded me of Fruity Pebbles cereal, even though it didn’t have any on it. I love donuts, but I won't be returning to this shop. The donuts are overpriced and simply not up to par.

Arrive early, as they often sell out on weekends. The ube cloud donut is absolutely amazing—it's truly delicious!

Hey, been around for quite a few years still putting on good product. Don’t be afraid to give them a shot.

This family run owned business is a tremendous asset to the Gurnee Community!! Their ube doughnuts are LEGEND….. wait for it…. ARY!!!! My kids love coming here and now ask to walk here (joys of living just up the street! They totally hooked us up for my son’s birthday party favors when I wanted to gift his guests with gift cards! Support local, get to GURNEE DONUTS! You won’t be disappointed… unless it’s Monday and they are closed.

Ube donuts are incredible. Best Apple fritter I’ve I’ve ever had!!! Not your average donut shop!
