We traveled from Hamilton with our family from Australia to show them around, and they wanted fish and chips. They said it was the best fish they had ever tasted!

I searched for the best fish and chip shop in Rotorua and found that Oppies is highly recommended. I would definitely suggest this place if you're in the mood for a fish and chips fix. We ordered snapper and chips along with a generous side of egg fried rice, and everything was perfect! The fish was incredibly fresh and the batter was impressive. I will definitely be visiting this place again the next time I’m in Rotorua. Plus, the service was excellent!

Oppie's took our order quickly and prepared it effortlessly without any delays, adhering to our specifications! The service was fast and friendly, and it was so good that we ordered twice on two consecutive days! The chips were absolutely delicious!
