Sonia's Cake Coffee Shop - Rotherham

Before the ownership change, visiting this cafe for coffee and cakes was a delightful experience. However, it appears that the shop now exclusively sells custom-made cakes and may not cater to drop-in customers like it used to.

I had a wonderful experience at this charming café. The prices were reasonable, and the cakes were delicious and homemade. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back again in the future.

Visited today for an early Father’s Day treat, food was gorgeous and plenty of everything. Milkshakes were amazing too. Very friendly staff menu choice was really good, lovely little find.

Wow this is the place to be for afternoon tea! You are made to feel so special. Your table is reserved, with beautiful white linen. The food is fresh, homemade and tasty. There is a wonderful selection of: fresh sandwiches, savoury snacks, scones, fresh cream,...strawberries, chocolate covered strawberries, home backed cakes, home baked tray bakes and steaming hot tea. The atmosphere is also lovely, lots of nice local people calling in. This is proof that it is a lovely place, as you can tell it is the heart of the community. Food, friendship and happiness, the perfect recipe.

Nice cafe but small found it to be noisy by regulars that go in Shouting across the tables and to the staff found we couldn’t have a conversation to ourselves prices are average and the toasted tea cake was just normal
