Bidrage med feedbackI have been coming here on a Sunday for about 5 years and never had a bad meal yet Sue and Kev are brilliant hosts and the cook Lorraine does some great food
Awful, we were asked if we knew what meats we wanted when we booked. I said what we would probably have but were unaware that the full menu was available too. When we arrived we were told we had to have Sunday lunch and the meats that we had selected as she had already got them out of the freezer. At the bar we were charged £14 for 2 pints with cordial and a pint of cheap coke. I questioned this and was told this was correct The Sunday lunch came out and it was grim, my son had chicken which was dry, the beef was nice. The Yorkshire puddings were supposed to be home made. They were frozen aunt Bessie’s ! Not a great overall experience at all.
Went here for my wife's birthday meal. They say its home made Sunday dinner Think not) Yorkshire pudding was the frozen kind.Gravey lumpy, 1 and a half roast potatoe. 2 thin slices of beef. Plate was covered with garden peas just to make it look like you have a full plate of food. Be mindful of the price of drinks which we did question Glass of **** £3.60 2 larges and black £9.30 2 shots of black current £1.60 Total £14.50 : Robin hud whore a mask.
Five of us went for a meal last night as it is my son's birthday. We had a drink then ordered the meal. It was so nice to have someone come to the table to take the order, instead of standing at the bar. The food was really good, with gravy boats and mint sauce for the pie. The service was second to none. Very personal. We will be back!!
What a smashing pub. Great selection of ales. Food service avaliable. Small outside area. Darts! Clean and really tidy. A couple of great lads behind the bar. What more could you want? Heard there's karaoke on soon. Can't fault it.
