My friend ordered the oysters Rockefeller and the burger bowl, while I had the Maple Bird sandwich topped with a maple thyme glaze, accompanied by fries. The sandwich is typically $15, which feels a bit steep for a chicken sandwich with fries. However, given the quality of the ingredients, the location, and the presentation, the price seems reasonable. With the military discount, it became more than fair. The service was excellent, and the restaurant itself is thoughtfully designed with ample seating both indoors and outdoors. I am sure I will return.

However, once we ordered, everything came out quickly and tasted great. The food itself was very enjoyable, and the décor had a charming 50s and 60s vibe, with benches outside for seating. While it is a bit of a drive from Rowlett, I will definitely return the next time I'm in Heath.
