Bidrage med feedbackThis is truly the most homey Sichuan restaurant in Maryland. The food is authentically delicious, and the owners and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They always greet customers with a smile, making you feel right at home. While the decor might be slightly old-fashioned, everything is impeccably clean and well-organized. I highly recommend it!
This is my favorite Sichuan restaurant in DC, and I've tried many in the area. I especially recommend their Home Style Tofu, Sichuan String Beans, and Stuffed Tofu and Vegetable Balls. (I'm vegetarian, so I'm recalling the names from memory, so they may not be exact.) This place truly stands out, even in a neighborhood filled with amazing restaurants.
This restaurant has been around forever, and for good reason! While the decor might not win any awards, the food is fantastic if you know what to choose. I couldn’t help but roll my eyes at another reviewer's complaint about the lack of authenticity in their General Tso chicken. This is a Sichuan restaurant, which means you should expect spicy food. The spicy beef and noodles are particularly outstanding, and you can specify your preferred spice level. I believe the noodles are made fresh daily. Although it’s not a Sichuan dish, my personal favorite is the Beijing-style shredded pork; the flavor is unique and incredibly satisfying. Overall, it’s a great place to dine if you know what to order!
I ate here with a local Chinese co-worker at noon, largely based on their recommendation. My belief was well placed one of the best Chinese restaurants that I had to taste the food fortune. I would recommend looking at the rather simple decor and focusing on the selection from their extended menu.
Excellent food and very friendly service. I was also amazed by how quickly I received my food. I have seen cleaner bathrooms, but I didn't find them dirty to the point of being any concern. I would highly recommend.
