Excellent Saturday or Sunday morning spot Live blues musicians and local color abound.

Here in Clarksdale to listen to live Blues and were hungry.

My friend took me here driving past and must say looks quite goodFull of Lorna Jane girl So it should have been a warningTwo flat white and two pieces of snickers slice. Both with we're good But and a big but!!! $24.60. Are you serious!!What for the please of looking at a busy road, spotting all the plastic Lorna Jane people and to have a supposed organic experienceAll I can say is WOW!!!

I have been to Evolve Organics Cafe twice now. Both times the staff were friendly, however I waited a long time to get my food. The first time I went I ordered a simple acai bowl when very few were dining at the cafe. For something that just needs to be blended up and decorated with some fruit and muesli, the wait was just too long. The second time I ordered something from the takeaway/pre-made window. This was a spinach and cheese samosa and side salad. All that needed to be done was heat the samosa and plate up the food. The wait was at least 20 minutes. I think to anyone this would be unacceptable, considering the little effort and time it would take to prepare this. I waited and watched as others who ordered after me had their pre-made cakes and coffees before me. Thank goodness after an unnecessary wait the food was really good. Great selection of salads, vegan, gluten-free and vegetarian options. So that's a plus for me! Although, when my friend received his dish he felt quite sick eating the smoked salmon. Other than that, he enjoyed the rest of his plate. I would like to say I would go again because of the great range of options for the health-conscious, however the slow service seems to be a pattern, considering it was over 6 months between each visit. Maybe third time lucky?

I recently attended a cooking presentation at Evolve Organics Cafe at Rocklea. In the past, I've not been all that enamoured of organic/paleo/everything-free treats as they so often just seem to lack something. Paleo caramel slice just doesn't taste like 'normal' caramel slice no matter how hard I try to pretend it does.However, I was just blown away by the delicious treats the wonderful ladies at the Cafe made that night. Absolutely fabulous. Do yourself a favour and try them.
