The River and Rail Restaurant - Roanoke

Complete disappointment. Although the food was good I did expect more than 2oz. of steak for $28.00 for two people with tip the bill was $100.00 and I left hungry, the portions are very small. i would not recommend this place to anyone and will not go there again like i said COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT

My review starts with dessert - banana pudding with jalapenos coconut ice cream and generous amounts of sweet corn bread sprinkled on top.

Two words summed up my experience at this hidden pearl of a restaurant located in one of the Urban Legand Capitols of recent fame because of American Horror

While on a road trip back to NYC from Tennessee, I started getting hungry while driving a little outside of Roanoke.
