Cliff's Rendezvous - Riverhead

I have been going here recently prior to seeing a show at Suffolk Theatre.I made a reservation for 4 people.We were told they did not have a table for us. Unfortunately the staff who took my reservation did not write it “ IN THE BOOK “Instead it was only written down on a piece of paper.The fool working the front counter lacked any skills necessary to address this customer’s concerns.When I asked why not seat us at one of the open tables, I was told those reservations were written in the book. This was not my mistake but became my problem.We ended up seated at the bar on the most uncomfortable bar stool ever. Our party of four could not converse around a table and the people on the far sides could not speak to one another.We were offered no discount what so ever, no attempts at appeasement were made.The bar tender did not want to hear my complaints, instead my displeasure was left to fester.Do not go over the cliff, stay away from this place.

Excellent restaurant. Great staff. Had the porterhouse. It was fantastic. Highly recommended. Kid-friendliness: They were very nice to my son.

Decent dive bar vibes for a drink and a bite to eat. Burger wasn't best I've had but wasn't the worst either. Need to go back and try the Pastrami Reuben I was eyeing next time.

Do I usually eat steak?… No. Did I have a bite of my Fiancés and then proceed to devour more than half? Guilty as charged your honour. Clifs, excuse me but I want to know what you are putting in that freaking marinade you saucy little minx. I would drink it chilled in a martini glass. I would bathe in it. It’s addictive and I cant stop thinking about it. And your prices are so reasonable ugh- I just cannot wait until our next rendezvous!!!
