Danieli On The Green

I purchased two lots of chocolates, one for my sister in law (Gluten free) and one for my mother (diabetic) Sarah was extremely helpful and polite, I also got talking to Carlo the owner, his genuine passion for his products is amazing, Carlo insisted I try his gelato and explained where and how he sources his ingredients. The chocolates were beautifully presented in gift wrap I highly recommend Danieli on The Green and will definitely be returning.

Today, there was a long line for ice cream, but it was definitely worth the wait. The restaurant offers a fantastic variety of ice creams, sorbets, and frozen yogurts. The fig and yogurt as well as the chocolate sorbet were absolutely delicious, on par with traditional Italian gelato.

As an ice cream fiend I cannot believe that I missed this gem. The queues ten minutes before closing were a massive giveaway as to what treat I was about to have... So ok diet starts tomorrow. I had three scoops...mango sorbet, pistachio and biscuit. Absolutely amazing. Glad I've discovered this place.

I popped in for a quick visit and ordered a single cone. The service was fast and pleasant. The biscuit gelato was much softer than what I'm used to, but it tasted great. The price was reasonable. Overall, a satisfying experience.

What a gem of a gelato and chocolate shop with the best gelato in the London area! The gelato they serve is so much better than what we Americans call ice cream, and the wonderful service with a smile from Freya and Catherine made our day. For Ted Lasso fans, Danieli's exterior has appeared in the first 2 seasons and rumor has it that a scene from season 3 was shot there. A visit to Richmond wouldn't be complete without a stop at Danieli on the Green!
