Bidrage med feedbackI tried this restaurant a year ago and it was pretty good. So I decided to bring a group of friends there last week. I could only describe it as disappointing. To start, we had to ask for the side dishes that Korean restaurants are well known of. Other Korean restaurants that I had visited would have brought them automatically. For the 10 of us, they brought out two small dishes of bean sprouts and 2 small dishes of potatoes. We ordered the grilled beef short ribs, it would come with a bowl of rice. We ordered the large size and it still came with just a bowl of rice even when we asked. We ordered the raised pork hock. It was good. When we asked for some lettuces to eat with, no, no lettuce. The noodles with black bean sauce was also disappointing. It didn't look nor taste like what it should be. The large size seafood pancake was like a regular size elsewhere. Other dishes that we ordered was just OK too. Overall, the food was not very bad but we didn't get what we paid for. It was not authentic Korean at all. Perhaps the kitchen staffs had changed since I first visited. If I want Korean food agin, I would go somewhere else next time.
The kimchi is bad.The gamjatang "pork bone soup" is very bad even taste of the soup and the pork. The hot & spicy seafood glass noodles bad too, there's so much onion than glass noodles.1st time taste it...there's no 2nd time. Also when we are still waiting our black bean noodles...they said to us that they need to clean up the table...because other customers are waiting.Song cook and nakwon much better than this.
The writing on the wall says that this place has very good food and I totally agree. The food tastes home cooked. The soups are perfect for the cold weather. I love the kimchi which is fresh, crunchy and not salty! I went there two times this week!
The pork feet are fantastic! The portion is large enough to serve 3-4 people. Each slice is thin and has a perfect balance of skin, fat, and meat.
The Korean restaurant in Richmond Hill used to be good and reliable, but there are doubts about whether it has new management now.
