El Bocho - Richmond Hill

This restaurant has quickly become our go-to spot for delicious and traditional meals. The food is fresh, the portions are generous, and the prices are unbeatable. And don't even get me started on the desserts - they are incredible! Hands down, this hidden gem in Richmond Hill is a must-try.

I found everything about this restaurant to be authentic. The food and drinks were not only very affordable, but they were also delicious. Unlike other Mexican restaurants in the area, this one is run by Spanish-speaking employees. The terrace is perfect for enjoying a nice day. I will definitely be returning.

I would rate this restaurant 3.5 stars. The food was not delicious, with the beef taco and chicken nacho being very dry. We mentioned our concerns to the server, who took care of the bill for us. The wings were priced at 10 for $15 and came with a lot of fries, but they were too spicy for my taste. Fruit flies were also a problem at this location, with 4-6 constantly buzzing around during my visit. Overall, the service was attentive, but the food was not good enough for me to consider returning.

I just came in for dinner on a weekday. It was not busy when we came there, but the place began to fill. Food came fast and delicious. Good service, our waitress always has a smile on her face. We will visit again safely!

If you?re interested in coming here for dinner, definitely put in a reservation. This place is small ish, roughly 10 tables with a few set for larger groups. The staff here are friendly and service is quick. They have live music (warning for anyone who has any sensitivity to loud music, this isn?t the place for you) and it can get pretty loud. Menu is different than what is listed on their website perhaps something the restaurant management can look into. Definitely a good place for drinks with friends, and the food is decent but I won?t say it?s amazing. The nachos were pretty lack lustre for a Mexican restaurant. However, the calamari was nice and tender. Ordered the fish tacos since many people on here gave it such rave reviews. They were portioned well but lacked some seasoning. Wouldn?t mind coming back here.
