Bidrage med feedbackAvoid the cheeseball cost too much! I was too Korean and had my full of deep roasted cheeses and this was not it. was not crispy on the outside and the texture seems off. it's like a sweet cheese mochi timbit. the price is also at the upper end, $10 for 6 balls, definitiw not worth. I didn't know until now, I saw it online that his not bee, his cream would be. to be fair is a fried huhn restaurant, but why strongly advertise the cheese balls on social media, if its not even the same deep fried cheeseball, the trendy atm
One of the better Korean fried chicken joints in town located within H Mart.Be prepared to wait 15-20 mins as they make it fresh. I ordered the 8 piece with Korean secret sauce , you can choose their other sauce options.Their secret sauce was a little sweet, sour and spicy, I really liked it.
It 's inside Hmart. A popular fried chicken style from Korea. Apparently they only use fresh chickens. If you order a whole chicken, they cut up a whole chicken for you. Without a ton of batter hanging from it. A bunch of different flavors if you don 't want plain. It says bbq but it 's fried chicken ?. The bbq stands for best ...... quality or something like that.
So I had to call them 7 times just to place an order. They do pick up but it seems like they just pick up and put it aside, since I could hear the conversations but they were not taking to me. During the 7th try, they did talk to me; one time a guy then another a girl. Unfortunately, they couldn’t speak English or Korean. The guy was mumbling the same thing repeatedly. It wasn’t even funny. Then, they told me that it would take about 30 minutes. I arrived there after 30 minutes and still waited for another 15 minutes. Anyways, as for the fried chicken itself, it was mediocre at best. I’ve been to this location several times and it used to be good. It seems like the quality is going down every visit. This time, it was just “Secret Spicy” that I ordered and it tasted strange, as if the sauce was mixed with another type. Still, they are keeping their pricing largely the same, while all the other similar restaurants are pushing them up like crazy, so that’s a good thing. So, for the best experience with them, just place an order in person, and then browse or shop around the H-Mart while you wait.
Honestly the best Korean fried chicken in Canada. Almost comparative to the one in Korea. Generously portioned and lightly seasoned. Soy garlic, original, and honey garlic definitely my go to.
