Bidrage med feedbackI take my pizza very seriously. I've taken multiple trips to NY planned around trying the best pizza I could. I own two Pizza ovens, study pizza as a subject matter, and make pizza every week. That being said, I ordered a margherita and a cheese slice and both were excellent, close to the best NY-Style pizza I've had in my life. I could quibble about minor things I'd change, like higher hydration in the dough, a little more crispiness on top, the awkwardness of ordering from the bar and the pizza being off to the side, but this is the pizza is amazing and puts to rest the argument that you need NY water to make good or even great NY-style pizza.
Some of my favorite pizza in the area. A little expensive and always hectic to grab food, but usually worth it. Not a good place to sit down and eat at all since the space is so tight. Their menu rotates and some of the specialty pizzas are crazy good, although the upside down and grandma reign supreme
This was a mixed bag and much harder for me to rate than normal. The pizza is great! Barstool would rate the pie a 7.8+ and I’m at an 8.5. Good cheese, great sauce, crunchy outside side soft bite crust with a great undercarriage. Just good pizza.I do not recommend planning to dine-in here. There are about 10 chairs with 3 or 4 tables and five chairs at the bar. The whole building is maybe 10-15 feet wide. It’s small and tight but dang do they make good pizza. The staff is you typical Carytown personalities.I look forward to their business growing and eventually getting into a bigger space.Go get take out here.
The grandma pizza was amazing! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
First time today. Pizza is .... YES! Still, not NYC but close; very close. HIGHLY recommended. The service, although, I didn't eat in was good. I was greeted promptly and served sufficiently. I'd placed my orders in advance and they were ready when I arrived. Staff is friendly. The space ... it's tight. Really tight. Just a very small bar area that is right by the entrance and a few tables. I didn't officially count the tables but it looked like MAYBE around 4.
