Bidrage med feedbackWe were undecided on what to have for dinner, so we decided to drive to the York Blvd neighborhood to find something that matched our mood. We came across 3 Brewers and thought it would be a good choice. Despite it being a Sunday evening, we were surprised to find that the restaurant was quite empty. After selecting our drinks, we made our food selections. My companion chose the Beer Battered Fish Chips (1 piece). Although it was sufficient for the evening, the cod filet seemed a bit small. The batter was crispy and not overly heavy. I opted for the Texan Flammekueche, which is one of 3 Brewers' Alsatian flatbread options. It featured pulled pork, red peppers, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, mozzarella, BBQ sauce, and was topped with onion rings. I liked the mix of flavors and textures. Our server was friendly and polite.
This was my first time at this restaurant. We were seated promptly for lunch, and it was not very crowded. The service was decent, although we had trouble flagging down our waitress to get the bill. The food was delicious, especially the Sundried tomato and goat cheese flammekueches that I ordered. I will definitely return to try something different next time!
I dined at this restaurant a few times when it first opened, mainly because I had coupons. They offer a unique blend of German and American cuisine, with many dishes infused with beer flavors. The flams make for a great appetizer to share, but they are quite filling. Special mentions go to the Beer-Braised Pork Shank and the 3 Brasseurs Sausage Sauerkraut. Let's not forget about their selection of brews! During my first visit, I tried their Special Et Cetera, which allowed me to taste their White, Blonde, Amber, Brown, Feature, and Neighbourhood beers. While their beers may not be exceptional, I particularly enjoyed the Amber and IPA (I took a sip from my boyfriend's pint).
3 Brewers though is a franchise but maybe the only Brewery Pub in the area.<br/ <br/ Disclaimer: I was lurked in by the promise of free tasting of every single beer on tap and a neighborhood beer which is unique to each location.<br/ <br/ Since it just opens yesterday, everything is new including all the staff. Excited and eager to please.<br/ <br/ Great spot to come for a pint or 2. And of course some snack too!<br/ <br/ Neighborhood Beer is Postal Farmhouse Ale (Richmond Hill)
Good selection of foods. pity that they close at the end of the month.
