Bidrage med feedbackOf the 35 years I've been going to the movie theaters, I have yet to find a theater I enjoy as much as Alamo. From the pre-show commercials, extensive menu of varied food, mixed drinks and alcohol, to theater aesthetics and well trained staff, Alamo is my favorite theater and well worth the trip if you can stop in and catch a flick.
My Fiancée and I had an amazing experience here. This place is awesome for many reasons. The atmosphere is old timey what we loved also is that phones, talking, crying babies, etc.. does not happen here because they keep an eye on all that. It was nice to watch a movie with no chatter or phone distractions. Hopefully more movie theaters follow suit. I’d give this place 6 stars if I could. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Popped in to watch a Wes Anderson movie, Asteroid City, with a couple of family members. The ordering system is not high tech, but it works, and the service is okay. The food is good, albeit, a bit on the expensive side. The atmosphere they have is very good for watching movies. Will definitely go back.
Loved it! Food/drinks were so good I fell asleep halfway through the movie lol the staff was also very friendly!
The theater itself was not bad. In fact, it had an odd old school feel to it. I thought I’d walked into something from the 60’s or 70’s. The dated look actually is a pretty cool look for this particular location. We were looking for a place to chill off the side of the highway while a tough rain went through Dallas. The main issue I had with the company itself was prices. One appetizer and two meals ended up costing $70. We paid $30 for a movie (which I must say was the worst ever, “Book Club 2”; terrible, but that’s a different story). The food was not bad, but do think your prices should be re evaluated. In the future, we will probably just have dinner somewhere else before attending a movie.By the way, our waiter was fantastic and helpful.
