Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls - Reston

Great place to get your lobster roll fix if you're from out of town. Food was cooked to perfection. Buns were toasty, and staff was very helpful and delightful.

The Connecticut roll was delicious, but I would have preferred it to be warmer. It was too small for the price of $20. The $5 clam chowder was definitely worth it, as it had a generous amount of clam. The interior of the restaurant was smaller than anticipated, with only 4-5 tables available for seating.

I did carryout and the restaurant was nice and clean when I did my pickup. The lobster and shrimp rolls are excellent. The lobster bisque however was a bit pasty and only had a couple of small pieces of meat, even after ordering extra meat. I would not order the bisque again, but I will be back for more lobster and shrimp rolls. ????????????

The lobster rolls are delicious. The lobster is very fresh and the rolls are buttery. However, the portion size was disappointing as I was able to finish it in just three bites. Considering the price, I expected a larger serving. If you are craving a lobster roll, give this place a try, but be prepared to potentially still feel hungry afterwards.
