Me and my friend had a lovely meal and lovely service by the waitress. however our opinions quickly changed when we got to the payment process. the lovely waitress accidentally made a couple mistakes with the bill which let to her re doing it again. her manager was at the till and started shouting and humiliating her i front of us. not only did it make us feel awkward and uncomfortable but it must have been humiliating to the obviously still learning waitress. the manager proceeded to threaten her with our bill coming out of her pay check because she accidentally messed it up. instead of teaching her how to do it she kept on shouting at her and ended up doing it herself. overall we are appalled and found this very unprofessional. accidents happen and this is not the waitresses fault. great beef tho x

Rollo. 13. Oct 24. As with all Tobys, good reception and tasty Sunday Cavery! A plus, THE PARSNIPS HAVE RETURNED. For some time not in line up of the vegs. A strange thing.... on three recent Toby Sunday lunches that I booked by phone and also on line, On arrival NO KNOWLEDGE OF MY BOOKING? In each case at the reception they quickly found us seats, but it is advisable to book also sign in your car REG quickly! Sunday lunch is always a pleasure for us as a couple.

Visited today for the first time in a few months and was happy to find it has all been redecorated and refreshed which was well overdue! It was also back to its full busy self again. Fully staffed. Really nice to see. The chef here has a great personality too…

Brilliant delicious meal with excellent staff . Our server was Ismail who greeted us with a smile and made us feel very welcome , considering how very busy it was all the staff did very well indeed and were very professional .

Lovly date night with my husband for dinner. Food was fabulous, staff very friendly especially Annie always had a smile on her face while helping and speaking to customers. We will definitely be back again
