My husband and I decided to celebrate his birthday with breakfast at this restaurant. We ordered a big breakfast with fried eggs and a vegetarian breakfast with poached eggs. However, when our meals arrived, both came without eggs. After inquiring, we were told that our order indicated no eggs. A young man offered to cook the eggs for us, but we were already halfway through our meals and didn't want to wait any longer. We paid for the eggs but were not offered a discount or refund for the mistake. Despite reaching out to the restaurant, we never received a response. This experience ruined my husband's birthday, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's disappointing to pay for something and not receive it, and getting the order correct should not be that difficult. Overall, we were very unhappy with our visit.

We went to this restaurant for breakfast and when our food arrived, we realized that our plates were missing eggs. The waitress claimed that our order did not include eggs, but we specifically requested eggs when we placed our order. They were not very busy at the time, so we were unsure how this mistake occurred. As we were halfway through our meal, a young man came out and offered to cook eggs for us, but we declined as our food would have gotten cold. They offered to bring us another coffee, but did not offer any discount on our bill to make up for their error. We were disappointed with the service and experience, especially since it was a special birthday celebration for my husband which was ruined by this incident. We will not be returning to this restaurant and suggest finding a better establishment for a more enjoyable dining experience.

During my visit to the area, I had several meals at this restaurant. The main attraction is the location, but whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food was consistently good (not gourmet, but still tasty) and the service was outstanding! The prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants in Australia. The bar prices were lower than most places in the city and South Bank, but a bit higher than some clubs. It's recommended to make reservations for special occasions, but usually you can just walk in. I really liked the location and the staff, who were friendly, helpful, and professional. Overall, I had a great experience at this restaurant!

I have been going to RQYS for over 30 years. I have been to weddings, 21st 60th parties. I can honestly say that today was the worst meal I have ever been served. Party of 7 for lunch. We all ordered at the same time. Meals were served from 1st to 7th at least 10 minutes between. Two of us had the barra with lentils. It looked like something I would NOT serve to my dog. I did eat the fish, but it was cold not cooked in the middle. There was enough lentils to feed 20 people. Some ordered desert we had to ask 3 times as to when it would appear. $50 for the meal, for what it was, is way over the top. Will not be returning. KM

Great location. Menu has 3 prices for every meal, member, guest, public. All way over the top for what you receive. $16.50 for a pint of Kirin. I had flathead fish of the day. Tiny bit of fish, smothered in batter, cool chips and last weeks salad, (even the salad was only some lettuce leaf with radish). $36.00. We thought it would be a nice meal out but so far off. Even the toilets were disgusting. Of the 9 meals order only 1 burger was reasonable, not great, just reasonable. It is obvious as to why the Main Street of Manly was busy but this place nearly empty. One star for the location but we will never be back.
