Pho Hien Vuong Pasteur - REDLAND BAY

As said, honestly could not find any positive things in this restaurant. Even the spring rolls were pretty bad.

This Vietnamese restaurant tucked into a corner of Market Square serves authentic Vietnamese food. The soups, salads and beef briskets are tasty and you can choose what size you'd like to have. You can sit in the air conditioned restaurant or in the external dining area. Service is fast and efficient and the prices are very reasonable.

We regularly go there with my family because the vietnamese soup they serve is simply fantastic. If you like pho this is the place to go. Very cheap too.

In Vietnam I have stood behind a diner waiting to occupy their stool simply because there were others doing it.It's a good sign that whatever they are doing is good.Hien Vuong Pasteur in Sunnybank is no different.You will join a queue and be invited to your table when the current occupants leave and there is a good reason for this, the Pho is outstanding. The broth I'm sure is MSG free and the generous beef content left me saying "enough" long before the bowl was empty.Order the large dish at your peril.

A limited menu of rice paper, fried spring rolls, soups and vermicelli noodle salad dishes but boy oh boy its the most flavoursome and authentic around. Sunnybank has so many food options on all corners of the main road but this one is tops. The pho stock is aromatic and flavoursome and while others serve bottled sweet chilli sauce for spring rolls Pho Hien serves the real deal nuoc cham for its spring rolls and vermicelli noodle salads. You know you're at the right place as they also have an outdoor area with about 20 seats and right next door to the toilet area.
