The Lockup Kapiti - Raumati Beach

Tasty options both in the cabinet and out of the cabinet. Friendly staff at the till and in serving. All of the seating is outside so it optimum to be here on a sunny day. There is quite alot of seating that is all spaced out plus a little kids play area to keep them occupied. Tucked down the side street so not to worry about the road being so close.

Friendly staff, good coffee and tea. We haven't eaten here but everything looks good.

This morning's travels bought me to #thelockupkapiti Somewhat different too your traditional café, in that the majority of seating was outside, however the customer service, kai and kāwhe were excellent. Atmosphere was lovely, radio playing in the background, sounds of laughter and kāwhe being made from the kitchen, customers coming and going. I really enjoyed my kai and kāwhe. I ordered from the menu, but the cabinet kai looked sooo ka pai.

It was my first time at this cafe. I ordered the plum crumble and it was the best crumble desert I ever had. It was served with yogurt and it was the best for me which is why I rate these guys 5 star. I will definitely go back there again and will try their lunch menu plus the plum crumble. Lots of seating arrangements. Variety a plenty in the Cabinet. Free range eggs for sale. Even a jar of Dog bikkies! Great coffee. Thoroughly enjoyed my Custard slice friend said how good the Cheese n Onion toastie was. Thanks. Recommend!
