The Nook Caffé Restaurant - Pullenvale

Worst restaurant ever!! The service was appalling , we were seated 40 mins after we arrived even though we had a reservation. Our drinks order arrived an hour later cold and food arrived  2 hours after we ordered and was undercooked we couldn't eat it. Quite disappointed , would not recommend this place at all.

Mothers Day breakfast: Poorly organised, overbooked, no communication regarding wait times. Trying to take chairs from tables where there were obviously people sitting still to reorganize for the people they were still trying to cram in. 30 minute wait to order, 80 minutes waiting for food which never came. No excuse or reason given. Another table had been waiting over 2 hours with no communication from staff. Absolutely amateur and shows they are not prepared for more than a few people wanting a coffee.

It had been a while (almost 2 years!) since we'd ventured here for dinner and was surprised to find the place relatively quiet for a Saturday night. We were also surprised to find only 4 main meal selections or the tapas menu. Staff were polite and helpful but we waited an incredibly long time for meals considering it was so quiet. The meals were very average for the price paid. Disappointed, as in the past the food was always worthy of the price tag. Looks as though they've been under new management for quite sometime and the place has lost it's atmosphere.

I used to like this place. I enjoyed their lunch and dinner specials that they created on the blackboard, but ever since The Nooks changed chefs sometime in the past 6 months, the food their in my opinion has dipped in quality.

The Nook - the cafe where customer service has come to die! Went for lunch yesterday and to say it's gone downhill is an understatement. Food cold and not as described on the menus and staff not interested in the customer experience - not worth the money you spend. We use to be regulars as we are local but since the original owners left so did the care! #bringgeorgeback #worstmanager
