Surabi – Anandha Inn - Puducherry

The ambiente is mediocre. Eating is really delicious. they have the same menu as the restaurant near. the croute ordered a l’anglaise, which was a perfectly baked tar with zagged fish seasonings and was bribed with cheese. also the bark steak had a la egyptienne and it was well cooked with a nice help from vegetables. the toilets were like public toilets and I was not impressed. they also had no opportunity to add my corporate gst number when I asked.

While anandha the gas house as hotel was great with nice rooms and friendly staff, the restaurant surabhi, where we were offered free breakfast was bad. that was probably the worst breakfast buffet I ever had. eating was bland, refilling was slow and service was simply rude. I would not recommend it just because it is free. it needs a lot of improvement.

First meal in pondi. first of many meal times to follow. always a happy place to breakfast. even though they could have done something better with their own eier part. but I guess they've spread this with their buffet. a hearty way to start the day and not to say the countless meal all day, fkr we three are forever hungry trip-y traveling

Decent setting, no food. well prepared and served. cool fish, tandoori huhn and chicken clear suppe. taste was good and worth the price. only that there is the additional ruffles missing, therefore the evaluation.

If you are in for a late night dinner/snack and want to have south indian veg food. This is the best place in town as they are open till 2 AM. The taste is good overall no complaints whatsoever. The ambience and service is good. On the downside the restaurant really needs a makeover at least on the table cloth which has slogged way more than its limit : . The pricing is also right.
