Marc's Cafe Store - Edayanchavadi

It is always a joy to visit the store and purchase authentic handcrafted products souvenirs and Sri Aurobindo Ashram Literature, products and photographs. Recently, I had ordered books online and that was a pleasant experience too. Must visit place and of course, enjoy small treat in its cafe too.

I remember during my first time in Pondicherry, walking through the Promenade, I stumbled across this store. The warmly lit interiors one can peek through its glass windows are inviting, so for someone who loves exploring local stores, I walked in. The warmth of the people inside the store surpassed my expectations. The staff of this store is kind and considerate, they will not push you into buying products but tell you a story of items curated and sourced from the local artisans of Pondicherry. How within each of us is a story waiting to be unravelled to the right listener, the products that you would pick up and explore, have their own origins and a journey, which you can ask from the staff and they will happily oblige. When you do any purchase in this store, you are certain that it has been ethically sourced. Without intentionally participating, I was experiencing conscientious shopping perhaps for the very first time in an Indian store. The store has everything one might need for themselves or want to present to others, it has souvenirs one can carry along as a promise to return to this city where time stands still. There are few experiences one has to undergo to understand their relevance. The ambience, the essence and the underlying values that Aura experience store represents are to this day unmatched for me. But coming to this store has certainly raised my expectations from other local stores I visit when I am travelling. If I have to recommend a particular category in the store, it will have to be the Home and Interiors, I love the locally sourced ceramic tableware and bed linen. Happy Shopping! :

The store have some very beautiful items! While I find them slightly expensive, I feel that since the profit are used for a social cause I was happy to buy things from here. I also want to say that the staff is extremely friendly and helpful! If you have a chance then definitely drop in and am sure you will like the vibe and the stuff offered here! thank you very much!

Awesome shopping !! Good collections, nice quality. Nice cotton tops for girls, lovely soaps and other natural cosmetics. Must visit place and located on the Goubert avenue facing the beach couldn't be better !!
