Ranchero Mexican - Prineville

Great food, great prices great service. Everyone is so kind.

Coming into Prineville, this spot was nestled right by the highway. After driving all day, it seemed like a nice place to stop. Just before 8 pm, mind you, I found out most restaurants close at 8 pm in this area, so get there earlier. My carne asada was overcooked, but it was near closing time, so I get it, but the food came out super quick. The bartender was attentive, and the Paloma they made was weak, but good. I wanted to give 5 stars, but the bathroom left me feeling uneasy. I can't imagine why they would leave it like it is with such a busy restaurant, gross.

Great place to eat! Currently in the area for rockhounding and for the local rock shows, but I live in San Diego. My husband and I stopped in yesterday for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The food was hot and delicious, and the chips and salsa were good as well. I was reminded of our favorite restaurant back home. Parking: Parking available around the building, I'm sure that at busy times the parking is difficult, but we had no issues when we were there.

The staff is friendly and smiling.The food is awesome and the atmosphere is welcoming. Always a good place to wine and dine.
