Fred’s On The River – Food Mart And Deli

I was in this part of the city for my whole life and I was curious about Fred's on the river. After being in the military for three years, I come back to my hometown and come to find out that this place is outdated and a bit unpleasant. I was the only black person there to mention the service there very rude and not professional. I have an adios and she basically said it's like a Long Island iced tea (no beats and the drink was drunk with syrup). The place as a whole was a 7, so I gave him a 2 but different from the service, the music, the people, and even the pool tables lacked care. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone who hopes to have a fun night.

Freds food mart is the best place for local coffee talks, early morning pep talks and the best food around any time. It won't be better than Freds. They will meet all locals and they will make you feel like home.

Love the fried pork chops. They're wet. I usually don't like them because they get dry and overcooked. The Hasch brews are cut potatoes, love that. Breakfast is the whole day and the menu is huge and the Boudin balls are great. I also like the sauce and omelets. I have to go back tonight. It's a little loud, but not as bad as some places.

It took three times to cook the cheese sticks. While the first time the next two times had salt on herNormally, I have no problem with food. Need a new cook

It took over 40 minutes to get a hamburger and 4 chicken tenders. I have no idea why it took so long. I will never go back there. I should have asked how long it would take. They didn’t say how long it would take. I would have just left but I have two young children needing to eat and there are no other restaurants in the area. I will never go back.
