Meikle's Ocean View Bistro

Got there early as we knew it would get packed on a perfect Sunday arvo, the staff were friendly and helpful, clearly under the pump as the afternoon got busier, but I could hear them explaining to people there would be delays, there was no delay for us, calamari and chicken special were both very enjoyable, no problem recommending and going again, every second person looked like they were having the fish?

Enjoyable fish and chips and a pot of beer in this typical Aussie pub. Bistro located next door. Nice folk running the place. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

From the start we got service with attitude. A large portion of the menu was unavailable. No eftpos for under $20. Luckily, we had cash with us. The plates were delivered with the same attitude. The saving grace was how delicious the meals were. We all agreed that we wouldn't be back in any hurry.

AMAZING! All around great meal, peaceful atmosphere, timely service with a friendly face. Stopped in on way home on a whim and we do not regret it. The owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome and looked after. The food was indescribable, we all felt like licking our plates! The prices are beyond reasonable for what we got. Definitely will be returning, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Friendly staff and lovely roast lamb.. only negative, could have been a couple more roasted potatoes (got 2 small ones) Meat was tender and lovely rich gravy Only a small restaurant area, but I suppose deliver counter meals to the main bar
