Rusty Water Brewery - Cowes

Started off with the artisan bread to go with my shipwreck IPA and my wife’s cider,then had the best fish in chips I’ve had in Phillip Island for the last 10 years. My wife also loved her warm duck salad and we shared an apple and rhubarb crumble. Good coffee too. Overall a fantastic experience, can’t believe we haven’t dined here before. Will definitely be back !Cheers !

Despite being a popular restaurant, we were seated instantly. The service was friendly and prompt. Beer on tap selection was awesome. Food as you can see below, was tasty. The duck was cooked perfectly, barramundi fish was fresh, even the kid’s pizza was soft and tasty. To avoid disappointment, do book in advance or come early as they as usually fully booked. Overall, the selection of beer (bottle or tap) are good and food is good and service is good. I give this place a Happy Tomato.

When the business is really accommodating to families and go out of their way, it just relaxes The Luncher Clan and makes for a superb experience.<br/ <br/ That was the experience on this somewhat dreary Phillip Island day. The Little Luncher's were immediately looked after with drawing utensils and the waiter in charge also made a point of asking if we'd like the kids food out straight away this is supreme service. <br/ <br/ The Dear Luncher smashed down the Parma and Mrs Luncher ordered a seafood pasta for the 4354th time. Not even sure why we bother giving her a menu. <br/ <br/ The Parma was excellent. Not oversized, which can sometimes be the case. Quality over quantity at Rusty Water brewery. The kids were satisfied with their chicken and chips. And of course if you're drinking beer at a regional microbrewery, you're hardly going to struggle for a decent ale now are you? The Shipwreck IPA was delicious. Not over the top with hops, a really solid partner for the Parma if you're venturing here. <br/ <br/ This was the best dining experience had during the short stay at Phillip Island. Big thumbs up to the folks at Rusty Water. 

Friendly service in a laid back, serene atmosphere, serving decent pub fare and a variety of beers and ales. We were the last ones by 9.30pm on Fri night with the entertainer wrapping up her last song.

Great place to stop, great selection of boutique beers, awesome food and fantastic staff and service. Hats off to you.. no need to drive to cowes for lunch or dinner...
