Shankabar - Porto-Vecchio

Good atmosphere for lunch and excellent food. Our last lunch in Corsica and we wanted to make it a good one. Shankabar is on the main square. Staff are friendly and patient. We needed comfort food and the chicken club sandwich and burger were perfect....Fries were crunchy and fresh. The meat in the burger was juicy and delicious with cheese and tomato thrown in, and no mayo a big plus . Cost was fair for a prime location. Good coffee too.

Eating was delicious, but the staff was fantastic. very appealing, available and friendly. I'd like to come back.

On a holiday we fought to find a place that was open and had one table and we had luck and got the last table in shanka. the burger was absolutely tasty and the service very well, although she super busy.

A busy place right next to the central market place. I had lunch there, which we liked very much. the waitress was very friendly and helpful. my wife had a wonderful fish and chips while I had a great thunfischtar. all great. the pavlowa desert mascarpone,... red berries, .. is simply brilliant. in the evening we couldn't find a table in other restaurants and come back. the same waitress remembered us. the chef also gave recommendations. other two waitresses also very friendly. it is a very busy place. we have returned a third time. every time the service was excellent and eating well. it is a lively place in the august and the personal runs back and forth. every time we went, the personal was disguised differently, in beautiful, some sexy outfits. they came with the meal to ask if everything was good, checked at the end of each teller and the boss also circulated to check if everything went well.

A busy place just next to the central market square. Had lunch there, which we liked very much. Waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. My wife had a wonderfull fish and chips while I had a great tuna tartar. All superb. The Pavlova desert (Mascarpone,...red berries, . is simply awesome. In the evening we could not find a table in othere restaurants and returned. The same waitress still remembered us. The boss also passed by with recommendations. Other two waitresses also very friendly. It is a very busy place. We actually returned a third time. Each time the service was excellent and the food good. It is a busy place (In august) and the staff is running back and forth. Waiting times are very reasonable. Each time we went, staff was dressed up differently , in nice, somewhat sexy outfits. They came by mid meal to ask if all was well, checked at the end of each dish and the boss also circulated to check if all was going well. Excellent service
