Bidrage med feedbackI'm crazy. I live in Baton Rouge, but I work in Port All and I always go for lunch. The Ida Burger is not a gourmet burger and I love it for what it is. It's a blue burger. My first time that I was stolen because it was dressed exactly right (like a pony!, boiled, right, it was a perfect size and all that it just blended well. Every time I have it, it was the same experience. I had no expectations my first attempt, but it became my favorite burger in the area. Maybe I'm the one who's crazy, but I doubt it. I had many great burgers in this city, but Ida Burger is my favorite. I come every day at 12 and the waiting is quite typical. Nothing to get angry. So I guess we have some people coming on the wrong day, some people who are difficult customers, and/or people who expect a fat cow quality burger for $5. But maybe I'm just crazy.
Great experience! I had an Ida Burger with fries, both of which were large and delicious. I don't understand some of the negative reviews. I highly recommend this place!
This place is a classic small-town burger joint that's likely been around for over 50 years without making a single change, including its menu. The Ida Burger is definitely the standout item — it’s simply a hearty burger, nothing more.
The service is friendly, and the burgers are made fresh every day—unlike those frozen patties you find at fast food chains!
The best place in Port Allen to get milkshakes!
