Ship Inn - Pontypridd

Used to go here years ago but never ate, now a lovely restaurant with pub doing food, Sunday roast was amazing today so fresh and reasonably priced. The desserts looked good too but I was behaved today, just have to go back for one :

Usually have a nice experience here but I certainly won’t be going back. Bad attitude of the manager in the restaurant was just quite shocking. I hope when reminding people in future what the rules are in regards to the exits and entrances that he adopts a kinder manner. My little boy was fascinated with the fish in the tank and I just accompanied him. Had I been kindly reminded that he wasn’t allowed to do that then there would be no problem. When I’m spoken to like that, there is.

Staff were all really friendly and the food is nice. Plenty of choices for drinks at the bar. There is a really nice outdoor space, some covered with plenty of room and great play area for young children, with the addition of the play bus

First ever visit here today. Friendly and accommodating staff. Tasty food, good wine. Definitely going back. We were served by Dylan N, who was very pleasant and attentive.

Excellent place. Came here a bit by accident and stayed for a pint and then some food. The food is gorgeous and really well presented. Typical pub grub menu with some added seafood dishes but also really classy and delicious while still staying reasonably priced. Staff were all welcoming and helpful too, what a great find! All weather playground outside, great for the kids
