Fresh Pond Trading Post - Pollock Pines

Just here stopped on a ride to Lake Tahoe. Easy access of 50. It's the ultimate pit stop. I needed a break, but used my time and pushed my tank. The surrounding landscape was beautiful. The store inside had a restroom that was a welcome view. A lot of souvenirs can be seen. It was fun to look around. Soon I was back on the street, again on my next trip will pass this way.

This place holds a special spot in my heart. I've loved this gas station ever since my first visit. They offer a wide variety of products, from supplies to souvenirs, along with a great sandwich shop. The bathrooms are always clean, and the staff is really friendly. Whenever I drive on Highway 50, this is my go-to gas station. I just hope it remains safe from any fires.

This place is called Fresh Pond, and it opens around 6:00 in the morning. I'm not sure when it closes, but it has a small campsite and offers various activities. It's a great spot to take a break, stretch out, and refuel with food and drinks.

I stopped by for a quick break and noticed a sign that read "CLEAN RESTROOMS." I can confirm that they are indeed very clean! I will definitely visit again.

Has inside bathrooms and deli. Lots of stuff. Had a nice hill for sledding when snow is here. Can get to it from both sides of the freeway.
