Sportsman's Hall - Pollock Pines

Up and beyond my expectations! Chelsea was friendly to earth with exceptional service. Although the place was packed, we had no long waiting period from order to food delivery. The Angus Burger have quality meat. They won't be disappointed.

Thank you so, super, much for taking such good care of my appetite ?. And, for being the only restaurant that values quality, consistency, service, and ....the choices! Sometimes I need a country fried steak breakfast with a waffle at 3pm or a cheeseburger at 8am! I need to come get a ribeye and a loaded baked potato right now!...or the Prime rib... And your soup ?... Then those shut-people-up-that-you-ordered-a-salad, SALADS!!!....... Okay, see you soon ?

Was really hoping it would be amazing because local friends spoke highly of it, but it was only okay. Food 3/5, service 5/5, hence 4/5 overall rating. Got biscuits and gravy like we frequently do when we go out for breakfast, and it was okay. No sausage really in the gravy, nothing special. Apple pie was good. Our server accommodated splitting the check 8 ways, she was wonderful.

They have the best chicken fried steak and it is large. They have a few things I don't care for but they have so many things I really like. The portions are on the large side and there is nothing wrong with large portions, it just means you may have some good food to take home.

Love this place so we visit it once a month when we come to Placerville all the way from Fresno! They have good home cooked American meals that are overly large! The scenery with all the pines and snow is beautiful! During the summer they have a beautiful outdoor patio full of plants to dine in. The service is great and everyone is friendly!
