Fishes at the Point - POINT LOOKOUT

Terrible experience. Wished we hadn't eaten anything for lunch rather than the overcooked flathead, which I'm sure had been previously cooked as the fish was hard rubbery totally overdone. It was like concrete and the crumb was very dark brown. We also had a garden salad each which I'm sure was prepared many days earlier as the cucumber was slimy and the lettuce was extremely limp. This was also inedible. I will say their chips were good. Such a shame as our previous experience many years ago was excellent. Obviously there's been a change of management and chef.

Been here a couple of times, never failed. Will be back again, will, try something new, ooohh a good spot to view, whales, dolphins.

Absolutely disgusting vegetarian burger. Tasted like raw flour chickpeas and a bottle of curry powder, tossed in. Totally inedible. $16 for a Tip Top style coles bun, a slice of beetroot and lettuce, and an inedible patty I wouldn't feed my dog. So overpriced for something inedible. Read the other 79 1 star reviews, we can't all be wrong.

Last night had Calamari and chip. The Calamari was thick and fresh whilst the chips were thick and as good as you get. Just having a Cappuccino and it’s sensational. Was here 6 years ago and thought the same

Nice folk, nice grub and great view of the whales. Close to everything, walking distance to beach and amenities. Definitely worth a look.
