Restaurant Au Royaume de la Patate

We stopped there for a Poutine and burger... since the place is an institution since early 50s and many people were there we figures it would be a great experience... NOT! Very expensive and one of the worst fries and burger we ever had. Don't go there!

We frequently make a pit stop at this restaurant on our way to Thetford Mines. However, we have noticed that the prices have gone up recently. With Subways and a few other restaurants in the same area, they should consider offering better value for the money. Despite this, the fast food offered is similar to what you would find at other places, with a great menu selection, quick service, and outdoor seating.

I don't know why, but I'm craving a poutine. This place was actually the first place I ever had one when I was a kid. Make sure to ask for the BBQ sauce, it's really good.

When I visit this restaurant in Montreal, I am always reminded of the authenticity and nostalgia of the many boutique Poutine joints I have seen in the city.
