Seabreeze Cafe - Picton New Zealand

Not a great stop for lunch. We waited 35 minutes for a burger and a lamb doner despite many other diners that ordered after us having their food or already eaten and departed. The lamb was decent but a tad different than described in the board. The “thick” chocolate shake was nothing more than whipped chocolate milk very runny and doubt there could have been any ice cream. The burger (two large patties) was one of the worst I’ve had burnt to a crisp with a bad aftertaste. Fries were decent as was the view of the waterfront. Came to NZ$70 including a beer.

Fish and chips was good, WARNING the cheeseburger is a double, wear stretchy pants or loosen up your belt before trying to eat it! My daughter wishes they offered it as a single patty. I ordered pancakes and I expected it to take about 10 minutes. To my surprise, it took less than 5! They didn't lack on presentation either. Plenty of toppings and sides to enjoy, would come again, definitely. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
