Red Door Saloon In Dest

We’ve been going here for drinks and fun for a while, but that won’t be the case after tonight. My buddy (who turned 21 in April got turned away because the bouncer refused to believe he was 5”11. My friend recited everything on his Florida Driver’s License perfectly, including his address, date of birth, and height, but the bouncer was too insecure about his own height and wouldn’t let him in. Won’t be going here ever again if that’s how you treat paying customers :

I went here on the fourth of July with my friends and was denied entry by the bouncer because he refused to believe I was 5’11”. After he threatened to call the cops, he added, “even if they scan your id, I’m still not letting you in because there’s no way you’re 5’11”. The funny thing is, we were the same height, so I guess he’s just insecure. He was also bending my ID a lot, and it seemed like he was trying (and failing) to snap it in half. Needless to say, my friends and I won’t ever be returning here. We’ll just go next door to the harbor tavern (who served me immediately when I showed THEM my Florida ID).

Dead scene if you’re looking for dancing/ clubbing. I was told this place was an option for such, and it honestly sucked. Left real quick.

Last night friends and myself went to this place and the security guy didn’t let us in cause my friends who are visiting from Germany didn't have their passport with them, security guy didn’t wanna take their German ID (we have been to several places and every single one is able to scan their German ID). Of course they aren’t gonna carry their passports with them at all times, they can lose them and how are they gonna go back home?

A bar called “saloon” played alternative music with just 5 people in the bar…..it was the managers playlist, lol……this place was a bore!
