Ihop - Pasadena

I visited the restaurant today with my boyfriend. I had a burger and fries, while he opted for breakfast. It wasn't anything extraordinary. Our waitress was very polite—genuinely so—but on this particular occasion, it took a long time for her to take our order and check if we needed anything else. When our food finally arrived, it wasn't completely correct. I understand it's a busy Sunday, especially with the holidays approaching, but I really felt that the service could have been much better given the number of waitstaff present.

Although the dining area was closed, I was still allowed to sit down and received service. I truly appreciate that level of attention and care.

The food was delicious I had waffles but butter it was cold it was not at room temp, and it did not melt into my waffle the syrup bottle was sticky but was clean after we ask for another bottle. Our waiter was very good and would come by to see if we needed anything. The atmosphere was very comfortable.

I had the pumpkin spice pancake combo. It was delicious! The coffee was good and hot and the service was great!

The service was friendly, and despite being busy we were still attended to fairly quickly. After being seated, it did take a little bit for us to be given the menus. The food was decent. Some of the flavors were a bit off. The pancakes were a bit sweet, and the hashbrowns were burned. The atmosphere, however, was very welcoming. It had a strong sense of family orientation, which was great.
