Applebee's - Owensboro

I met two friends who had arrived about 10 minutes before me. The server was sitting at a table two down from us, but I waited 10 minutes for her to take my drink order. The food tastes like something you'd deep fry out of your home freezer.

The chicken wonton tacos were very spicy. They are not spicy at other locations. It's very frustrating when the quality or recipe is not the same across all locations.

Haven't been here in years, but decided to give it another try. I ordered a Perfect Margarita- it was straight Sweet N Sour. My bf ordered a burger fries, I got Chicken Won Ton Tacos. Food took 45 minutes, on a slow night. My chicken was very cold. His burger was ringing with grease. The manager did comp my tacos, but he also comped the table behind us because they had food issues too. Won't be back, it's not worth it unfortunately.

Came in this afternoon for lunch. Was seated and waited at least 20 minutes and the waitress never came to our table. Nobody even took our drink order.She waited on others around us. When I saw her go to a table that had just been seated we walked out. Also move those prickly bushes that are covering the sidewalk where the wheelchair ramp is. Our daughter was getting stuck by the prickly bushes when she was driving her power chair on the sidewalk. They are literally blocking the sidewalk that leads to the ramp.

We were very disappointed with Applebee's, my salad didn't have any tomatoes it was just lettuce chicken, and the lettuce had hard core pieces in it. My husband's chicken strips were too hard to eat, and his supposed Cole slaw didn't have any sauce in it the whole meal was disappointing, and the prices were outrageous....
