Bidrage med feedbackWe we’re out having drinks and suddenly hungry at 5am! So we walked to The Pink Lady and were able to have tasty brioches, cornetti and a good caffè!
This is a classic Italian cafe bar. Close to main park in central Ostuni with an outside terrace and pleasant decor inside. Coffee and pastries good, decent cocktail menu. Good sandwiches. Shows sport and open late. Great for quick coffee or a relaxing hour people watching.
If you visit Ostuni do not leave without visiting the Pink Lady. First class hospitality from English speaking staff. Lovely food and snacks the staff are always willing to answer any questions and give advice and directions.
Have been visiting the Pink Lady for the past few years with my partner, and have been in twice in the last week, with my partner, her brother twice and today also with her daughter and ordered essentially the same drinks and sat outside on both occasions (the first to watch the England World Cup qualifier on tv and again for a couple of drinks today). On our first visit for the football, we were charged around €17, today, it was €32!!. Why were we charged nearly twice the price today, when the only difference between the two visits was a Coke!. €15 for a Coke is excessive to say the least. May have to think twice about patronising this establishment in future. All I would say is, be warned about the pricing here, they appear to charge you whatever they like.
I arrived specifically to watch a game in the English Premier league and sent them a message beforehand. They welcomed me, both electronically (I drove from another town) and in person, and promptly put on my match (Liverpool vs. Aston Villa). The place really is an oasis in a large area (most of Puglia) which seems devoid of sportsbars. So I was really glad to find this fine place. The service really good in every way and friendly. Limited range of snacks and croissants but decent enough. Plenty of drinks and all kinds of icecream and fancy desserts. The place has a couple of screens on two floors, maybe five all in all. The second floor is properly darkened and good for viewing. The place is also conveniently located if you want to wander downtown after the match or before or whatever.... Highly recommended.
