Steam Kaffebar - Oslo

The coffee is expensive but good, and they have a toilet quite close without having to pay extra, which is not everywhere in Oslo Central Station. The staff are a bit bored, but it's a good place to sit and work or grab a coffee before going somewhere.

Hello, I am a regular customer at Steam, Østbanehallen and I have never experienced such poor service and lack of knowledge as today, 19.10.23. I tend to drink espresso machiatto which the waiter, a young man, obviously didn't know about, even though he said he could make it. Even after my explanation, in English as he doesn't speak Norwegian, he couldn't make it right. I am very disappointed and sincerely hope that this will not happen again. Best regards, Miri B. Ore

Nice service! Very good fresh orange juice. Note to vegans/non-milk drinkers: varying experience with oat milk here. They use Gryr, which doesn't foam that well, and as you know, oats require a little more love on the steamer than milk. Some know this very well, however. They charge NOK 9 extra for oats. Terrible coffee. Very disappointed. The espresso was tamped so unevenly, and the milk was not steamed properly with huge bubbles and a flat texture. It is the cafe’s fault for not providing training to their staff Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
