Booked a table for 8 people online, got a confirmation. Walked for 20 minutes to discover they weren’t able to make 8 pizzas, despite the restaurant being half full and there being several tables free. If we were two groups of 4, it probably wouldn’t have been a problem. Asking if they would fix the online booking, they replied that they couldn’t, because their staffing situation was difficult. They could change the text of their order confirmation to “Maybe we can serve you, maybe we can’t..” or just disable online booking for less than 2 hour in advance. Until they do: Don’t trust their booking system.
