Bidrage med feedbackNice high ceiling pretty interior. I got the Fjølaburger as it's guaranteed to arrive quickly I was in a hurry. It did arrive quickly, but it's clearly a low quality option. Sad to say but it's the worst burger I've had in a restaurant in Oslo. Maybe there are other nicer items on the menu, but I wouldn't recommend the burger unless you are really hungry, in a hurry, not picky willing to pay a lot more for it for the sheer convenience of time location.
One of the nice designed restaurants you can find in Oslo city center but not top when it comes to service. Food is middle class.
Ordered spareribs. This place has a guarantee that all food should be served within 15 minutes. This guarantee was fulfilled. The spareribs however seemed to be prepared from raw to serving in the same time. Even with a stake knife out was almost impossible to cut the meat. I tried to chew the meat but it would not come off the bone. I think this was the worst prepared spareribs I've ever been served. The sauce was bitter with a lemon like taste. The dish was also served luke warm so I returned the whole meal. The waiter was professionally and offered to remove the dish from the bill without any fuzz. The burgers my colleagues was served seemed better prepared.
Dismal grub in great location with a DIY attitude. Had a chicken salad as the menu was less than impressive. Thought it was a rather safe, albeit uninspired, choice. The ingredients themselves were bland apart from the pickled onions that seemed exotic in this context. The worst part was the dressing; it totally slayed what little hope of redemption remained. Apart from blue cheese (not a fan) this is the absolute worst dressing I’ve ever sampled. My two other table mates agreed so it wasn’t just me being fuzzy. I told the server but she didn’t care. The two stars are solely for location (weather permitting and if you don’t require anything beyond the absolute minimum for drinks). So disappointed
Let me first say that the food was fine burger with bacon, chicken salad, ice cream and apple cake. The service however was dire. We had 3 different waiters, each of whom disappeared for ages. When I complained to no. 3, I was told that 1) my attitude was unacceptable, and 2) the staff had changed. The first may have been true from her point of view, the second was a lie I saw the first waiter not long after. This is a station restaurant. Many customers have trains to catch. Waiting repeatedly for service is not acceptable.
