Sweet Fingers - Oakland

I was very disappointed with my experience at Brown Stew Chicken A La Carte. The food was cold and tasted like it had been prepared a day earlier. The rice and peas (beans) were also hard and cold. Considering I spent almost $60, I expected much better quality. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive my jerk sauce, so it felt like I paid $60 just for drinks! I won't be returning.

This restaurant consistently delivers great food, and you can really appreciate the time and effort that goes into every dish. My only complaint is that I wish there was more rice to soak up the delicious gravy.

The food is outstanding! The rice is incredibly fresh and perfectly moist, while the oxtails are packed with flavor and absolutely delicious.

Everything delicious, wonderful portions. Curry Goat, Oxtail Stew, Sorrel, my favs Homemade and soul filling. Def authentic <3

I pretty much love everything that I have had over the years from SF! The oxtails have always been the favorite of my family but we usually get the combination plate to add other things we love like curry goat and chicken as well as jerk chicken. The juices like sorrel, hibiscus and Jamaican sodas are also good. I love this place!
